After months of intense deliberation, I finally came to the conclusion that I’ve perused the blog world from the outside long enough. Blogs about food, nutrition, health, fitness, fashion, entertainment, art, you name it. I’ve bookmarked so many pages now that I swear my bookmark menu groans at me when I plead with it to keep track of another. I’ve tagged so many photography, fashion, and style related blogs I should be able to knock Project Runway out of the park. Then take catalog photos for my winning line. I’ve read so many articles about nutrition and health you’d think I was superhuman by now (Sadly, I am not- but I wish!) And I’ve noted so many recipes I couldn’t possibly make them all in my lifetime if I had four ovens, 6 arms, a lifetime supply of sprinkles, and Johnny Iuzzini himself at my disposal. I’ve scoured site after site, devoured photo after delicious photo, and once I started to realize I consider several of my favorite bloggers to be great “friends,” I knew the only logical next step was to
join a support group create a blog of my own.
Health and happiness are my ultimate goal; they keep me eating my veggies and trying my best to get some movement into my day on a regular basis. That being said, a world in which this unapologetically sweet-toothed, baked good, chocolate, and sprinkle-loving girl has to go without dessert is NOT a happy or healthy one! That’s why I bake. That’s why I create. Welcome to my blog, I hope you like it!

I am NOT a licensed or certified nutritionist or registered dietician. I am NOT currently, but am on my way to becoming, a certified personal trainer. I do, however, hold a bachelor of science degree in biological sciences with an emphasis in neurobiology, physiology, and behavior, as well as a strong interest in holistic and medical nutrition, especially as it applies to the prevention of disease, but PLEASE consult your doctor or a registered dietician for more comprehensive and tailored diet, fitness, and health information if you have health concerns or questions regarding any of the topics I discuss. I am simply expressing my knowledge and opinions based upon my own research, reading, and education within the health, fitness, and science fields.
